Autumn - What We've Been Up To
At Christ Church Primary School we find as many opportunities for our pupils to be active and engaged in healthy life choices. We regularly run the active mile which encourages children to increase their activity for up to 15 minutes of the day, as many times a week as they can, in addition to their PE lessons and playtimes.
Physical activity is important for good physical and mental health of children and young people.
An active mile is one way in which schools can increase the amount of regular physical activity undertaken by children during the school day.
We took part in the annual celebration of this event by running our well trodden route in style.
